My Wild Newport monthly volunteer activities at Newport's parks and nature reserves

Newport is a vibrant, green city with wildlife right on our doorsteps. We want more people to have the opportunity to feel happier and healthier enjoying Newport's green spaces outdoors!

Gwent Wildlife Trust is working with Newport City Council, with funding from NRW, to help people to live healthier and more fulfilled lives though improved access to the outdoors for health and wellbeing.

We meet on the first Saturday of the month at various places in Newport. Tasks include litter picking, footpath clearance, conservation management such as invasive species removal and habitat improvements.
