The Nature Recovery Manager is a pivotal role at GWT, providing leadership to a team of expert delivery staff, while devising and developing opportunities with the Head of Nature Recovery, colleagues, and external partners to ensure that GWT’s work is continuously increasing nature’s diversity and abundance.

Responsible for: Nature Recovery Officer x 3, Conservation Grazing Officer

Location: Gwent Wildlife Trust premises with homeworking as required

This role presents an exciting opportunity to deliver the Nature Recovery strand of our strategy - focussing on and around our largest, most impactful nature reserves to expand them, whilst increasing species populations and delivering habitat resilience across our whole managed estate.  The successful candidate will be devising and developing practical management techniques, evidence gathering protocols, and relationships, to deliver annual increases in populations of target species, resilience of habitats, and the size of GWT’s estate.
