About the event

Flower-rich flood plains, gnarly woodland, heather clad hillsides, quarries and coal tips, grab your binoculars and join us for a walk over the top! Starting from the post-industrial Bedwellty Pits in the Sirhowy Valley and finishing at Gwent Wildlife Trust’s Environmental Resource Centre in the Ebbw Fawr Valley. The route will be approximately 4 miles.

(Please note: When this event was originally organised, we planned to arrange transport from ERC back to Bedwellty pits but due to Covid restrictions, participants will need to either travel on public transport or be dropped off at Bedwellty and collected from ERC.)
