About the event

A dusk stroll up in to the woods at Abercarn in the company of Andy and Rob from GWT, to listen for and hopefully see this elusive and mysterious bird. Owls, bats, and other nocturnal creatures should also make an appearance. The session is weather dependent and may be cancelled if inclement weather is anticipated.

Meet at Twyn Road where there is car-parking (What3 Words ///headrest.cling.curvy). We will then pool cars and travel in convoy up into Abercarn Woods where we will again park. There will then be a C.1km walk to the site along which we should hopefully see other wildlife, this will involve the climbing of 1 stile. There will be room in two GWT vehicles for participants, although some may need to drive up in their own vehicle.
