This Level 3 Agored Cymru accredited course will give you a background about modern Outdoor Learning including a review of research & practice in recent years. You will learn how to audit existing provision and practice, and to create procedures and best practice guidelines for making outdoor learning part of a whole school educational strategy. You will prepare a Site / grounds plan and a sustainable management plan for your setting and prepare a year round programme of outdoor learning. The course will enable you to build on your outdoor learning skills and receive guidance for cascading new skills to other staff members.

About the event

This is an accredited course designed for educators who already hold a Level 2 Outdoor Learning Practitioner Award and are interested in extending their practices to their whole setting. You will need to prepare for and deliver 6 sessions including risk assessments, policies and site management plans for your setting.
