The course equates to 70 hours of taught time and requires, on average, a further 120 hours of self-study time from the student. You must have access to a small group and a wooded site to run your initial 6 Forest School sessions. This needs to be the same group over the 6 weeks and the group size must be no larger than 16.
Networking by the students on the course and the formation of small self-study groups is recognised as a useful tool aiding successful completion of the course. Tutorials by telephone, online and email are available during the course.
