Legacies have helped
Magor Marsh Reserve
Thanks to the generosity of two bequests, one left by Isabel Titie
and the other in memory of Chris Renshaw, the Trust was able to buy 33
acres of grassland at Magor Marsh. Work undertaken at
the reserve recently has encouraged the return of breeding
lapwings. This bequest provided the nucleus of funding
around which we could attract further grants and membership
support.
The Trust has also recently received notification of a
legacy following the death of Miss Elderkin. This has
enabled plans to go ahead for further improvements at Magor
Marsh for wetland species. |
