Pentwyn Farm Holiday Cottage

Pentwyn Farm Cottage - Andy Karran

a beautiful, comfortable haven
Juliet and Paul

Gwent Wildlife Trust have owned Pentwyn Farm Cottage since, 1991, when we purchased Pentwyn Farm. This SSSI (Site of Special Scientific Interest) Nature Reserve included a medieval barn and 12 acres of wonderful wildflower meadows.  Our members and other supporters responded generously to our appeal in a very short period of time, with the Farm going to auction over a matter of weeks, enabling us to safeguard the future of the nationally important meadows that surrounded it.

Thank you for a wonderful break in this idyllic cottage. Such a comfy, homely and well looked after place... and the perfect spot to explore the area

Welsh stone cottage for two in the lower Wye Valley

Pentwyn Farm Cottage is a lovely, traditional Welsh stone cottage set between two exceptional Gwent Wildlife Trust Nature Reserves and with stunning views across the Wye Valley.

The cottage sleeps two in the main bedroom (king size bed) with room for an infant in an adjacent bedroom. Relax in the tranquility of the large enclosed garden with its views of the beautiful surrounding countryside, or step into the nature reserves next door to enjoy abundant wildlife and you'll see thousands of meadow flowers including orchids in season. On the doorstep are lots of fabulous places for walking, cycling and mountain biking as well as historic attractions to visit.

Loved the log fire, garden and peace!
