Sat, 14/09/2019 - 5:30pm - 10:00pm

Join us for a fascinating talk from expert bat ecologist, Steve Wadley at this remarkable late-medieval farmhouse in the Llanthony Valley, recently restored by the Landmark Trust. After hearing more about these marvellous but much-maligned mammals we will be walking over to Gwent Wildlife Trust’s Strawberry Cottage Wood Nature Reserve with our bat detectors to see what wildlife we can discover.
To really get a taste for bat life, food samples will be provided by Grub Restaurant on an insect theme! (Bug tasting is not compulsory!)
Llwyn Celyn (Landmark Trust), Llanvihangel Crucorney, Nr Abergavenny from 5.30pm, (walk starts 6.30pm). Booking essential.
