There are many ways in which you can help GWT. And it's not all about money.
GWT is a local charity which depends on the financial, moral and practical support of its members and volunteers.
We have set out our objectives, shown on the left, which guide us in everything that we do. It is these principles that drive our trustees, staff, members, and volunteers to make every effort, each in their own way, to protect and enhance the wildlife of Gwent.
Of course, financial support is essential – it is the life blood which allows our staff to actively care for our 30 reserves, to educate children and teachers, to encourage developers to do their best for the wildlife and environment, to engage and inspire the people of Gwent to care for our own surroundings.
The best way to help is to become a member – your regular subscription allows GWT to plan its finances most effectively. In return, we’ll send you our magazine mailing three times a year. For more information, click here.
Alternatively, we always need help from volunteers. Volunteering can be anything from a couple of hours help on a reserve with practical work, to holding a bake sale, from fixing a trust vehicle, to writing a blog. There’s scope for anything.
