 Responding to Planning Applications 

Types of Planning Application

There are three types of planning application:

1. Full planning permission

2. Outline permission, (followed at some point in the future by full permission).

3. Approval of reserved matters.

Outline applications test the proposal's acceptability in principle.

Permission when granted lasts for:

• Full Applications -  5 years.

• Outline Applications - 3 years.
